Contur Software AB was founded in 1999 in Stockholm, Sweden, with initial focus on software development for customers in the Life Science sector. In 2002 Contur initiated collaboration with one of Europe’s major biotech companies Biovitrum, to develop an Enterprise Electronic Lab Notebook. The system was named ConturELN and was rolled-out successfully at Biovitrum in 2003.
