2010-02-15 Contur Software has signed framework contract for ELN systems at Karolinska Institutet, Uppsala and Umeå Universities

Contur Software has signed a framework contract with Karolinska Institutet, Uppsala and Umeå Universities for the electronic laboratory notebook system ConturELN.

The system has the potential of being deployed by up to 5,500 scientists at the universities.

ConturELN is Contur Software's server-based ELN system for larger R&D organizations. It has been used by renowned commercaial and academic R&D organizations worldwide since 2003.

Our history

Contur Software AB was founded in 1999 in Stockholm, Sweden, with initial focus on software development for companies within the retail, telecom and pharmaceutical industries. In 2002 Contur initiated collaboration with one of Europe’s major biotech companies Biovitrum, to develop an Enterprise Electronic Lab Notebook. The system was named ConturELN and was rolled-out successfully at Biovitrum in 2003.
