Contur Software is a software company that develops, enhances, sells and supports user-friendly software for R&D labs. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, the company presently serves customers in North America, Europe, Scandinavia and Australia.  

Contur enables R&D organizations to organize data more efficiently both from instruments and when documenting laboratory work. The platform is based on ConturELN, an electronic lab notebook system which has been in production since 2003. ConturELN is widely adopted in the Life Science and Chemicals/Materials industries with several thousand daily users.

Contur Software targets laboratories that require software with a high user approval and that also requires minimum involvement from external consultants and vendors. Contur has invested a lot of effort to make this possible. The company also offers on-demand software as a service (SaaS) for smaller groups (up to 15 scientists) to share, collaborate and protect data without the need for local IT support.
